Job Description

Under general supervision, this position will oversee the tracking of all cased goods, inventory, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile in- house system records. Perform activities to maintain inventory control of merchandise and materials. May perform receiving, stocking, distributing, and packing in addition to inventory control. Keep inventory records, prepares and reviews reports.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Develops and manages various reports needed for inventory and warehousing analysis
  • Ensure the timely receipt in the system of all incoming product
  • Ensure the timely receipt of all internal transfers and repacking
  • Creates training documentation for inventory procedures
  • Verifies the availability of new releases for the sales and customer service departments
  • Track and monitor progress of unlabeled products
  • Works with managers from the transportation, customer service, and warehouse departments to ensure a seamless flow of inventory movement and needs
  • Other duties as assigned by the operations manager
  • Serve as the organizer and leader for annual physical inventory of all case goods
  • Conduct cycle counts for all finished goods items

Education/ Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in similar role
  • Bachelor Degree Preferred
  • Must have strong supervisory, administrative and customer service skills.
  • Wine inventory management a plus
  • International inventory management a plus
